Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology

Calvin Pearce enters his 2nd season on the Rose-Hulman coaching staff in the upcoming 2022 season.

Pearce has been part of teams that have compiled a 14-7 record over the past two years, including 13-1 against HCAC competition. Pearce was part of the team's HCAC championship and NCAA Division III qualifying coaching staff during the 2021 season.

Pearce comes to Rose-Hulman after serving as volunteer assistant coach at Alpine High School for three years.  He coordinated practices and assisted a team that reached the Texas state tournament every season, capped by an Elite Eight appearance in 2018.

He also served as pool manager for the city pool in Alpine, Texas in the summer of 2020.  

As a player, Pearce played four seasons at the University of Minnesota at Morris before earning a bachelor's degree in communications, media and rhetoric in 2021.  He played primarily at the defensive back position and will coach the same position at Rose-Hulman this season.
