Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology

Jalen Masden enters his third season coaching Linebackers at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2025. Masden coached at his alma mater, Manchester University, where he coached Linebackers. While at Manchester, Masden helped coach the Linebackers as a student assistant in the spring of 2022. 

Masden played football at Manchester for four years. During his playing career, he appeared in 26 games for the Spartans where he played inside linebacker. He was a two-year starter for the Spartans and led the team in tackles, while also finishing 3^rd overall in tackles for the HCAC with 89 total. In 2021 Masden was named a Semi Finalist for the William V Campbell trophy. He was also named a second team All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference performer. In that same season, he was the conference's defensive player of the week on 10/4/21. 

Masden got his bachelor's degree in educational studies and History in 2022.
