Jeffrey Stanton

Jeffrey Stanton enters his fifth season at Rose-Hulman as defensive coordinator and linebackers coach for the upcoming 2025 season.

Stanton has been part of teams that have compiled a 26-15 record over the past three years, including 23-4 against HCAC competition. He was part of a defensive unit that allowed just 19.9 points per game as part of an HCAC championship season in 2021.  The Fightin' Engineers also had six defensive players selected to the D3football.com All-Region Team (Winston Amankwah, Kyzer Bowen, Rashard Brown, Tyce Miller (x2), Michael Stevens).

Stanton previously worked at Rose-Hulman during the 2018 and 2019 seasons as defensive line coach and film coordinator.  His defensive line combined for three first-team and three second-team all-HCAC awards during the two seasons.  Stanton also coached a defensive line that ranked No. 2 nationally, with 19 different players recording a sack in 2019.

After his Rose-Hulman stint, Stanton returned to his alma mater Franklin College as linebackers coach, film coordinator and special teams coach in 2020-21.  He also previously worked on both the athletic training and football coaching staffs at Franklin from 2017-18. He was a four-year football letter winner and member of four HCAC regular season championship and three NCAA Division III playoff teams.

Stanton completed a bachelor's degree in athletic training with minors in fitness and coaching at Franklin in 2018.
