Joel Flores enters his second season as linebackers coach with the Rose-Hulman football program in 2020.

Flores coached first-team all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference honoree Jack Heyl to highlight position accolades during his first season as linebackers coach in 2019.

Flores served as a graduate assistant on the Indiana State University football coach staff in 2018.  He assisted with safeties, helped compile the opponent scouting report and aided with opponent film breakdown.

Flores has served as an assistant football, basketball and softball coach at Austin High School in Minnesota among other volunteer positions over the past four years.

He completed an associates degree at Rochester Community and Technical College in Minnesota in 2013; completed a bachelor's degree in sport management with a minor in coaching at Minnesota State, Mankato in 2015; and is currently entrolled in the Indiana State University master's degree program in coaching.
