Andrew Gray

Andrew Gray enters his 3rd season as assistant men's soccer coach at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology during the 2022 season. 

Gray has been part of three consecutive seasons of unbeaten regular season records against HCAC competition. The 2021-22 team won its second of three straight HCAC regular season championship, highlighted by a perfect 9-0-0 record in league play. The Fightin' Engineers are 25-0-2 in the HCAC regular season with three consecutive HCAC regular season championships and one NCAA tournament appearance.

Gray was part of Rose-Hulman's first unbeaten season in program history during his first year on the coaching staff in 2020-21.  The Fightin' Engineers won the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season and conference tournament championships as part of the 9-0-1 season.

Prior to Rose-Hulman, Gray most recently served as men's assistant coach at St. Mary-of-the-Woods College in 2019-20, helping the Pomeroys finish 10-6-1 and qualify for the NSCAA Division I Championships.  He ran sessions throughout the season and helped in the recruiting process. 
 
Gray was also recently the boy's head soccer coach at Terre Haute North High School, helping the team finish 10-9 in his first season as head coach.  His efforts included coordinating events and communicating with the athletic director and team personnel.  Gray also scheduled, created and performed off-season team workouts including weight training and open gym. 
 
Previously, Gray served as assistant coach at Manchester University in the 2017-18 season.  The team finished 10-9 in a season that featured Gray working as the team's first assistant and goalkeeper coach.   

Gray also spent one season at Ohio Northern in 2016-17, assisting a team that featured a 17-2-4 overall record.   
 
His previous collegiate coaching experiences also include serving as an assistant coach at Indiana Purdue University in 2015-16, first assistant at Franklin College in 2014-15, and a student volunteer coach at Manchester University in 2013-14.  

Gray has also served in different youth soccer roles from 2010- present such as Director of Coaching at Ohio Extreme South, Technical Director Sporting Indiana FC, Head boys' coach for multiple clubs, and paid trainer for VCYSA. 
 
Gray earned a bachelor's degree in health and physical education from Manchester University in 2013 and has also completed a master's degree in coaching and athletic administration at Concordia Irvine.  He currently holds a C License from the United State Soccer Federation.
