Hayley Hollenga

Hayley Hollenga enters her 4th year as assistant women's soccer coach during the upcoming 2023-24 academic year.

Hollenga also spent the 2021 and 2022 seasons as softball assistant coach at Rose-Hulman.  Her efforts helped the Fightin' Engineers earn their first winning season since 2015 during the spring of 2022.

Hollenga came to Rose-Hulman after serving as a successful club and youth soccer coach in Texas for the past four years.  She has served as Academy Head Coach at Christ Academy School; Club Head Coach at FC Dallas-Texoma; and a Youth Coach for Soccer Shots in the state of Texas.  She led the FC Dallas-Texoma club to a perfect 11-0 season in 2017-18.

Previously, Hollenga spent two years as assistant coach at Midwestern State University, where she primarily worked with the goalkeepers. In addition, she also assisted in team practices, administration, and recruiting. Hollenga was also an Adjunct Professor in the department for the West College of Education at Midwestern State.

As a standout college player at Fort Lewis College, Hollenga helped her team finish 66-15-12 with two conference championships, four NCAA Tournament appearances and a trip to the NCAA Elite Eight in 2010.  She was a three-year team captain and set school records for career goals (43), assists (30), points (116) and game-winning goals (15).  She was chosen the best women's soccer player in school history and is part of the school's 100-person All Sports All-Century Team.  Hollenga was featured in Sports Illustrated’s “Faces in the Crowd” after scoring four game-winning goals during a five-game span. Hollenga was a second-team All-American in 2010 and a four-time all-region honoree. 

Hollenga also spent three seasons as a reserve guard for the Skyhawks women’s basketball team, helping the squad to three-straight RMAC titles and a NCAA Division II national runner-up finish in 2010.

Hollenga earned bachelor's degrees in Business Administration-Management and Economics as well as a minor in Coaching from Fort Lewis College in 2012.  She also completed her MBA at Midwestern State University in 2016.
