Kristen Loving enters her fifth year as assistant athletic trainer at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in the upcoming 2025-26 season.
At Rose-Hulman, Loving will serve as direct contact for the volleyball, softball and indoor track and field teams. She will also provide support for Rose-Hulman's remaining 20 varsity sports teams.
Loving has spent time on the athletic training staff at NCAA Division I Southeastern Louisiana University and at Indiana State University. She spent three years at Southeastern Louisiana from 2018-21, assists with Division I volleyball and beach volleyball during the 2020-21 season.
At Southeastern Louisiana, Loving previously completed rotations with the baseball, women's soccer, track and field, men's basketball and football teams, as well as working with a local high school. Her efforts included managing medical records; providing preventative health care techniques; administering first aid; designing rehabilitation programs; assisting with rehabilitation; evaluating and diagnosing injuries; concussion return to play protocols; and Covid-19 screening and monitoring.
Loving spent the 2021 fall season as a graduate assistant at Indiana State University, where she served as the volleyball team trainer this season. She completed a bachelor of science degree in athletic training at Southeastern Louisiana in 2021 and is currently working toward a master's degree.
