Gabrielle Gibson-Paul enters her second year as the assistant women's basketball coach in the 2025-26 season.
Gibson-Paul is a true game-changer—bringing passion, energy, and excellence to everything she does. From the moment she picked up a basketball, Gabrielle set herself apart with her unstoppable drive and love for the game.
At Copiague High School, she rewrote the record books, scoring over 2,000 points and leading her team to a New York State Championship in 2009. Her standout high school career earned her a full scholarship to Assumption College, where she became the second all-time leading scorer and captured numerous honors, including Freshman of the Year.
In October 2023, Gabrielle’s incredible career was recognized with her induction into the Assumption University Hall of Fame, a reflection of her lasting legacy as a student-athlete.
After college, Gabrielle returned to her roots, coaching both the JV and varsity girls’ basketball teams at her alma mater, Copiague High School, for seven years. Her dedication to mentoring young athletes and building a winning culture left an unforgettable mark on the program.
Today, Gabrielle brings her leadership, championship mindset, and genuine love for the game to her role as an assistant women’s basketball coach at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. She continues to inspire the next generation—proving that hard work, heart, and hustle open doors to endless opportunities.
