Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology

Maggie Richard begins her third year as the women’s soccer volunteer assistant coach at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology during the upcoming 2020-21 academic year.

Her Rose-Hulman era has been highlighted by the team's first Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season and conference tournament championships since 2007 during the 2019 campaign.

Richard played Division I soccer for the Indiana State University during the 2013-2016 seasons.  She appeared in 68 matches and played defensive midfield.

Richard has served as coach for the U17 Vigo County Select Girls team for the past two years. The O’Fallon, Missouri, native attended high school at Fort Zumwalt West and played club soccer for St. Louis Scott Gallagher in the ECNL league.

In the classroom, Richard graduated in 2017 with a bachelor of science degree in recreation and sport management with a minor in coaching.  She is currently enrolled in the physical education and coaching master's degree program at Indiana State University and will graduate in May 2020.
