Sara Parker begins her 4th season as assistant volleyball coach at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology for the upcoming 2024-25 academic year. As an assistant, she has a 54-54 record with a 16-20 record in HCAC play. The Fightin' Engineers also won their first HCAC Tournament game since 2019 in 2022. Parker is also in her 2nd year in the role of Assistant to the Athletic Director.
Parker came to Rose-Hulman after most recently serving as assistant coach at NCAA Division III Alma College during the 2019-20 season. She was part of a program that finished 17-13 and third in the MIAA standings, highlighted by three all-conference award winners.
She has also recently served as assistant coach at Thomas Valley High School (Colo.) and has worked as a Club coach in Colorado, Michigan and South Dakota.
Parker was a member of the volleyball team at Presentation College (S.D.) from 2014-18. She was part of the winningest team in program history and played primarily at the defensive specialist/libero position. She was a winner of the team Spirit of the Saint Award; Champions of Character Award; and was a four-time NSAA academic scholar-athlete.
Parker earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science with a minor in coaching at Presentation in 2019. She also earned her master's degree in physical education exercise science at Indiana State University in 2023.
