TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- DePauw University relied on a strong hitting performance to top Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology 25-20, 25-14, 25-14 in volleyball action on Wednesday night.
Senior Briana Harvey and junior Sarah Jensen led the Rose-Hulman offense with five kills each. Jensen provided 11 assists, with sophomore Morgan Dreyer adding nine.
Freshman Mackenzie Gossard led the serving and blocking efforts with two service aces and three block assists. Freshman Gabi Razma had 16 digs, with Dreyer contributing 10.
Rose-Hulman dropped to 11-14 on the season, while DePauw improved to 19-7. The Fightin' Engineers host Transylvania University in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup on Saturday.
