TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Riding a two-game winning streak, the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's soccer team travels to Hanover College Saturday, Oct. 25 for a 1 p.m. game with the Panthers.

The Fightin' Engineers come into the game with a 10-3-1 record including a 4-1-1 mark in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) play. The two wins for Rose-Hulman mentioned above are both 1-0 victories over Manchester (in overtime) and Earlham.

Offensively, three Engineers have scored at least nine points this season. Junior Hayley Gilliam leads the team with 11 points, three goals and five assists, while junior Kate DeMoss and freshman Eliska Saiz have each totaled nine points. DeMoss has an even three goals and assists while Saiz leads the team with four goals to go along with one assist.

Defensively, Rose-Hulman has allowed just two goals in its past seven games including shutting out its last three opponents. Junior goalkeeper Lucinda Combs ranks sixth nationally in save percentage (.912). The Danville, Ky., native has 91 total saves this season. Along with the Engineer defense, Combs has allowed just eight goals and has notched 10 shutouts this season.

Hanover enters the game with an 11-4 record overall and a 5-1 mark in HCAC play.  Recently, Hanover notched 8-0 victories over Mount St. Joseph and Anderson before falling 1-0 at Franklin.

Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series with Hanover 7-5-1. The Panthers, however, defeated Rose-Hulman twice last season winning 1-0 in overtime during the regular season and notching a 2-0 victory in the HCAC Tournament.

After the game with Hanover, Rose-Hulman will play its final two regular season games at home, Oct. 29 against Anderson and Nov. 1 versus Bluffton.
