HANOVER, Ind. - A second half goal from freshman Turner Perkins lifted the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory at Hanover in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) action Saturday, Oct. 25.
Perkins fired a shot from the top of the box past Hanover goalkeeper John Seewer in the 74th minute for the game's only goal. Sophomore Ben Lyon led the Fightin' Engineers individually firing three shots in the victory.
Both teams fired seven shots in the contest. Rose-Hulman, however, held an 8-4 advantage in corner kicks.

The Engineers' record now stands at 10-4-3 including a 5-1-1 mark in HCAC play. The victory also makes the fourth consecutive season Rose-Hulman has reached the 10-win plateau.
