BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team is still undefeated after a 2-0 victory at Illinois Wesleyan Sunday, Sept. 14.
Neither team scored in the first half despite Illinois Wesleyan taking nine shots and Rose-Hulman firing three. Rose-Hulman senior Andrew Bartush, however, broke the deadlock in the 59th minute. Sophomore Franco Cattani sent a corner kick to the near post finding the head of Bartush who beat Titan goalkeeper Mark Streid for the game's first goal.

Ben Lyon scored his fifth goal of the season in the 89th minute to put the game out of reach. Senior goalkeeper
Drew Miller earned his program-high 27th career shutout while recording three saves.
Illinois Wesleyan held a 19-6 advantage in shots. Each team, however, only put three shots on goal. The Fightin' Engineers held a sleight 3-2 edge in corner kicks.
"This game was a hard fought, shutout win against a very competitive team on the road," Rose-Hulman head coach Sean Helliwell said. "I am very proud of the guys' attitude and effort."
Rose-Hulman improves to 4-0-2 on the season with the win while Illinois Wesleyan dips to 4-3. The Engineers return to action Wednesday, Sept. 17, for a 7 p.m. game against rival DePauw.
