GRANVILLE, Ohio -- Denison University improved to 10-8 on the volleyball season with a 25-19, 25-10, 25-17 win over Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Saturday afternoon.
Senior Sarah Jensen narrowly missed a triple-double with nine kills, 11 assists and 12 digs for Rose-Hulman. Freshman Julia Hammond led the squad with 10 kills, and freshman Marissa Gollnick had a team-high 15 assists.
Sophomore Gabi Razma recorded 19 digs, and junior Emily McLendon had two block assists for the Engineer defense.
Rose-Hulman stands 11-13 on the season and returns to action at home against Mount St. Joseph on Wednesday night. The Mount St. Joseph game features a special live broadcast on wabashvalleysports.com.
