RICHMOND, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology captured a four-set Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference win at Earlham College by a 25-18, 25-20, 21-25, 25-22 count on Sunday afternoon.
Freshman Julia Hammond and junior Emily McLendon led the Fightin' Engineer offensive performance with 10 kills each. Senior Sarah Jensen had a team-high 39 assists.
Sophomore Gabi Razma recorded 30 digs to pace Rose-Hulman, and McLendon recorded two block solos and two block assists. Junior Melinda Buckrop added a team-high three service aces.
Rose-Hulman improved to 12-16 overall and 1-5 in HCAC play, while Earlham dropped to 5-20 and 0-7 in league matches. The Fightin' Engineers return to action at home against Defiance College for Senior Day on Saturday at 5 p.m. at Hulbert Arena.
