TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Mount St. Joseph University scored the lone goal of in the 61st minute to top Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology 1-0 in the women's soccer Grey Matter Awareness Game at the Engineer Intramural Field on Tuesday night.
More than 600 fans attended the matchup dedicated to increasing awareness of grey matter and the fight against brain cancer.

Mount St. Joseph narrowly outshot Rose-Hulman 14-10 overall, with Kate DeMoss leading the Fightin' Engineers with three shots. Kirby Kern added a pair of shots for Rose-Hulman.
Both Mount St. Joseph goalkeeper Lindsey Sturwold and Rose-Hulman goalkeeper Lucinda Combs recorded five saves in the match.
Mount St. Joseph improved to 6-4-1 overall and 1-1 in HCAC play, while Rose-Hulman dropped to 5-6 and 1-1 in conference matches. The Fightin' Engineers travel to Transylvania University on Saturday afternoon.
