Men's Tennis Travels to DePauw Tuesday

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's tennis team travels to DePauw University on Tuesday, March 31 eyeing its fourth straight victory. The match is slated to begin at 6:30 p.m.

Rose-Hulman enters the match with a 5-2 mark including a 3-0 record against Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) competition. The Engineers last played on Saturday sweep Hanover 9-0. 

Sophomores Brandon Benedict and Georges Adam enter the dual match with 5-2 and 5-1 records at first and second singles respectively. The two also team up to represent Rose-Hulman's first doubles team and carry a 4-2 record. Freshman Cam Metzger carries a 6-1 singles record playing primarily third singles into the match with DePauw. 

As a team in dual matches, Rose-Hulman is 29-13 in singles and 16-5 in doubles matches. 

DePauw comes into the match with a 6-9 record overall. The Tigers are on a two-game skid, having lost to Washingon and Lee as well as Mary Washington last week.

After the match with DePauw, the Engineers have their HCAC home opener against Anderson on Wednesday, April 8. The match is slated to begin at 4 p.m.
