TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's tennis team returns to Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action with a matchup at Defiance College on Saturday at noon.

The Fightin' Engineers have a record of 3-4 on the season and are 2-3 in HCAC play.  Defiance has a 2-6 mark and a 1-3 record in conference play.

Bella Evans leads Rose-Hulman with a 5-2 singles record, and Lauren Edwards is also above the .500 mark at 4-3 on the season.  The doubles team of Edwards and Lauren Miller is 4-2, while Becca Stanley and Sydney Short have a 3-3 doubles mark.

After Saturday's match, Rose-Hulman returns home to face Earlham College on Oct. 3.
