TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's soccer team travels across town to face off against St. Mary-of-the-Woods College on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
Rose-Hulman has a 3-5 record on the season coming off of a close loss in double overtime against nationally ranked Illinois Wesleyan on Sunday afternoon. SMWC has an overall record of 1-6 on the season including a recent loss against Hanover.
Senior Kate DeMoss has scored three goals this year, and sophomore Eliska Saiz has added one goal and one assist to lead Rose-Hulman's offensive performance. Senior Lucinda Combs has a 1.10 goals against average and a .862 save percentage in eight starts at the goalkeeper position for the season.
After Wednesday's game, Rose-Hulman hosts Defiance on Saturday at 1 p.m. for their first Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup of the season.
