TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- With just two games left in the regular season the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's soccer team will look to earn another big HCAC win at Franklin on Wednesday October 26.
After a forfeit win this past Satruday the women sit in a four-way tie for first-place in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference standings. RHIT, Franklin, Mount St. Joseph, and Hanover are all 6-1 in the league and have 18 standings points.
Freshman Jessica Wells was named HCAC Player of the Week for the second consecutive week on Monday October 24. She leads the team in goals socred with eight and has scored four game winning goals. Last week Wells scored both goals in Rose-Hulman's upset win at Mount St. Joseph.
Overall the Fightin' Engineers are 11-5 in 2016. Franklin is currently 13-3 overall and possesses the most potent offense in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. The Grizzlies have scored 64 goals as a team this season.
Kickoff from Franklin on Wednesday is set for 7:30 p.m.
