TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's tennis team opens the 2016 spring schedule with five matches in Florida starting Monday.
Rose-Hulman finished 7-5 overall during the fall season and reached the semifinal round of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament. The Fightin' Engineers defeated Transylvania 5-3 in the opening round before falling 5-1 to Hanover in the HCAC Semifinals.
The five-match trip to Florida starts on Monday with contests against Otterbein and Augustana (Ill.). The squad will also face Seton Hill, Wartburg and St. Vincent during the week.
