Men's Tennis Hosts Trine Indoors Saturday at 3

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman men's tennis team will face Trine University on Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Wabash Valley Tennis Center in Terre Haute.

Rose-Hulman stands 8-3 on the season after winning its final five matches in Florida a couple weeks ago.  The Fightin' Engineers defeated Augustana, Adrian, Ohio Northern, Capital and Wartburg, falling only to NCAA Division I Loyola (Md.) in its spring trip.

Most recently, the Engineers handled Franklin College (9-0) and Manchester University (8-1) last Saturday earning the first two Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference wins of the season.

Brandon Benedict has won two HCAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week awards and stands 11-3 in singles play and 11-5 in doubles matches this season.  Andre Adam has added nine singles and nine doubles wins, and Matt Conrad has won six times in singles play and seven times in doubles action.

The current HCAC men's tennis player of the week, Georges Adam, has added six singles and 11 doubles wins, and Cam Metzger has six singles and nine doubles victories

Trine has a 3-1 record from the fall season, but has not played a match in the spring season.  After Saturday's action, Rose-Hulman will travel to the Butler University Indoor Complex on Sunday at 1 p.m.
