TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's tennis team completes its 2016 home season with a matchup against nationally ranked DePauw on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Joy Hulbert Tennis Center.

Rose-Hulman set a single-season school record with its 16th victory on Saturday by defeating regionally ranked Wabash 9-0.  The Fightin' Engineers are ranked No. 18 in the latest NCAA Division III Central Region rankings and lead the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference at 6-0 in league play.

DePauw is ranked No. 35 nationally and No. 7 in the Great Lakes Region entering Tuesday's match.  The Tigers finished 2-1 against North Coast Athletic Conference foes last weekend, defeating Wabash 8-1 and Wittenberg 9-0.

Junior Brandon Benedict leads Rose-Hulman with a school record 38 total victories so far this season.  Benedict is 21-7 in doubles play and 17-7 in singles matches, improving his career singles record to 41-20.  He is a two-time HCAC Player of the Week in 2016.

Junior Georges Adam has been named HCAC Player of the Week three times and has 35 total wins this season.  Adam is 21-6 in doubles play and 14-7 in singles matches so far this spring.

Freshman Andre Adam is also over the 30-win mark for the spring season.  He stands 17-7 in singles play and 15-9 in doubles matches, and has also been named HCAC Player of the Week in 2016.

Sophomore Cam Metzger has a 12-10 singles and 14-9 doubles mark in primarily the No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles positions.  Metzger is 24-13 overall in singles play at Rose-Hulman.

Senior Matt Conrad will play his final home match at Rose-Hulman on Tuesday and has records of 13-9 in singles and 12-9 in doubles play.  His primary doubles partner has been Joe Kendall, who has a 14-6 mark in 2016.

Freshman Andrew Schiffman (10-6) and sophomore Brendan Goldacker (8-5) have shared time at the No. 6 singles position to round out the primary Rose-Hulman lineup.

After Tuesday's match, Rose-Hulman looks to secure at least a share of the 2016 HCAC regular season title on Saturday when the Fightin' Engineers travel to Earlham College.
