TERRE HAUTE, IND -- The Rose Hulman Institute of Technology women's tennis team will open up the 2016-2017 season at home on Saturday, September 3 at Noon when they welcome the Oakland City Mighty Oaks to the Joy Hulbert Tennis Center.  

The Fightin' Engineers finished the 2015-2016 season with an overall record of 8-9 and 5-3 in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.  

The women's tennis team was picked to finish second this season in the HCAC, in a preseason poll that was released earlier this month.  

Head coach Dan Hopkins returns several veteran players including Bella Evans, Lauren Edwards, and Linde Schaffer.  Coach Hopkins is also excited about the talent level of the incoming freshman class.
