TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team suffered a late loss on Wednesday night, falling to Wabash College 2-1 at Intramural Field.
The Fightin' Engineers got on the scoreboard first in the match. Austin Webb scored in the 27th minute to give Rose-Hulman an early lead. Ben Lyon assisted on the goal.
However, Wabash tied the game right before halftime on a Francisco Trejo goal. In the 88th minute Spase Dursuleski scored the second goal for Wabash.
Rose-Hulman now drops to 4-2 on the season. Their next match is Saturday September 17 at Millikin.
