Swimming & Diving Heads to Anderson; Men Ranked #10 in Central Region

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's and women's swimming and diving team hits the road for Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference rival Anderson University on Friday at 6 p.m.

Rose-Hulman News & Notes:

* The Rose-Hulman men's swimming and diving team is ranked No. 10 in the first College Swimming Coaches Association of America Men's Central Regional Rankings, released on Wednesday.
* CollegeSwimming.com named Elisa Weber and Cam Gill as the top performers in the HCAC last week.  Weber won two events against Valparaiso, while Gill won two freestyle events and one relay.
* The Fightin' Engineers were also ranked No. 32 in the CollegeSwimming.com national dual meet rankings with 567.75 points.
* The Rose-Hulman men have a dual meet record of 7-2 this season.  The women's squad has a dual record of 5-7 entering the upcoming meet.
* The men's squad has won each of the last two weekends against Wabash and Division I Valparaiso.  The women's team placed second at the Illinois Wesleyna Invitational and narrowly dropped a decision to Division I Valparaiso last weekend.
* The roster includes three team members who won conference titles in Rose-Hulman's former league: Cam Gill (400 freestyle relay in 2015); Patrick King(200 butterfly in 2015 & 2016); and Ben Stone (400 & 800 freestyle relay in 2015)
* Current men's team members with school records include: Cam Gill (200 Backstroke, 800 Free Relay); Tyler Sariscsany (200 Free Relay) and Ben Stone(400 IM, 800 Free Relay).
* Current women's team members with school records include: Lauren Blake (200 Medley Relay, 400 Medley Relay, 800 Free Relay); Bethany Lefeber (100 Butterfly, 200 Butterfly, 200 IM, 200 Medley Relay, 400 Medley Relay); and Maria Kline (500 Free, 1000 Free, 1650 Free, 800 Free Relay).

The Opposition:
* The Anderson men and women are both 0-3 in dual meets this season. 
* The Ravens have faced Franklin, Illinois Tech and the Wabash men; the women have squared off with Illinois Tech, Franklin and Indiana Wesleyan. 

Upcoming Action:
* After this weekend's action, Rose-Hulman heads to the Transylvania Invitational on Dec. 2-3.
