TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team looks to rebound from a close loss to Trinity (Texas) with a 3 p.m. Central Time matchup with Chicago at the Midway Classic on Saturday.

- Head Coach Rusty Loyd enters his fourth year at Rose-Hulman. Loyd's career record is 46-35, including 35-19 in HCAC regular season games.
- Coach Loyd returns to his alma mater this weekend, where he is a member of the Athletic Hall of Fame.
- Rose-Hulman has reached the championship game of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament four times in the past six seasons.

- Chicago finished 16-9 last season, including 8-6 in the UAA standings.
- The Maroons won defeated No. 4 Rochester and No. 5 Washington (Mo.) during a 4-1 run to end the 2016-17 season.
- Returning double-figure scorers for Chicago include Noah Karras (13.1 ppg) and Jake Fenlon (12.0 ppg).
