TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - After squeaking past Mount St. Joseph on Wednesday night, the Rose-Hulman women's basketball team will gear up for perhaps the team's biggest road test of the year when the Fightin' Engineers travel to Transylvania University on Saturday December 9. Transylvania was picked as the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference preseason favorites while Rose-Hulman was tabbed to finished second in the preseason coaches poll.

* The Fightin' Engineers are currently on a three-game winning streak and stand 5-3 on the season.
* Rose is currently 2-0 in HCAC play this season with wins over Defiance and Mt. St. Joseph.
* On Wednesday December 6, RHIT defeated the Lions of Mount St. Joseph 52-50 in Cincinnati. Chiarra Franklin led RHIT with a double-double, scoring 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Kayla Gerken contributed 12 points in the win.
* The Fightin' Engineers have won five straight games over Transylvania University.
