TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's tennis team will host Transylvania University in the third #TheHerd student fan group series event of the fall season on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to bring canned goods to the match, which will count toward the season-long competition at #TheHerd fan events.  Admission to the match is free.  Free visors will be provided to the first 100 students at Sunday's match.

Rose-Hulman News & Notes: 

* Rose-Hulman stands 3-2, 1-2 HCAC, in 2017.
* The Fightin' Engineers dropped a close 6-3 decision against Hanover College on Saturday.
* Anna Thompson and Naomi Bhagat teamed for a doubles win and each earned singles victories in the Hanover match.

The Opposition: Transylvania University Pioners (3-2, 1-0 HCAC) - Sunday September 24, 2 PM - Joy Hulbert Tennis Center 

* Transylvania stands 3-2, 1-0 HCAC in 2017.
* The Pioneers blanked Mount St. Joseph 9-0 on Wednesday September 20.
* TU has wins pver Midway College and Capital this season as well.
