TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's soccer team will open Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play this Satruday September 30 at Transylvania University.  Kickoff from Lexington, Ky. is set for 1 pm.

* The Engineers are currently 3-6-0 in 2017
* Rose-Hulman defeated Westminster (Mo.) on Sunday September 24 by a final score of 4-2.  
* Sophomores Maddy Twetten and Jessica Wells have scored four goals this season to lead the RHIT offense.  
* Senior Madeline Romeo has chipped in three goals and three assists for nine points. 
* Junior Lauren London leads the team with four assists.  
* A year ago, Rose-Hulman defeated Transy 1-0 in 2OT in Terre Haute.  

The Opposition: Transylvania University Pioneers (2-5-1)

* The Pioneers are 2-5-1 on the year and will play at Wittenberg on Wednesday before hosting the Fightin' Engineers on Saturday.  
* Transy has had five different players net a goal this season.  Casey Hite leads the team with two goals and four points.  
* Junior goalie Haley Blackburn has collected 25 saves this season.
