Road Test Awaits RHIT Women's Hoops at Hanover

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - After collecting a critical Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference victory on Saturday against Transylvania, the Rose-Hulman women's basketball team will face another tough test on Wednesday at Hanover College.  RHIT and Hanover will tipoff at 7 p.m. on Wednesday January 31.

* The Fightin' Engineers are 16-3, 12-0 HCAC on the year.
* Rose-Hulman has won 14 straight games dating back to November 2017.
* After RHIT's big win at home against Transylvania on Saturday, the Fightin' Engineers are now three games ahead of second place in the HCAC standings.
* Rose-Hulman ranks No. 1 in the HCAC and No. 8  nationally in scoring defense, allowing just 47.5 ppg.

* HC sits in fourth place in the HCAC standings behind Rose-Hulman, Bluffton, and Transylvania
* Hanover lost a pair of close contests last week on the road at Transylvania and at Bluffton.  

Rose-Hulman 66, Hanover 57

* Rose-Hulman had to muster a big come-from-behind win against Hanover in the first meeting this season back on January 3.
* Hanover led the Engineers 26-10 following the first quarter, however, Rose-Hulman flipped the script and outscored the Panthers 56-31 the remainder of the game.  
Chiarra Franklin scored 21 points off the bench to lead Rose-Hulman.
