HCAC TOURNAMENT WEBSITE
TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman women's tennis team will compete in the 2018 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament starting Friday at West Indy Racquet Club. The winner of the six-team tournament will receive an automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Tournament that takes place in May.

Opening Round- Friday, October 19
Match 1: No. 4 Anderson vs. No. 5 Rose-Hulman, 4 p.m.
Match 2: No. 3 Franklin vs. No. 6 Earlham, Approx. 6 p.m.
Semifinals- Saturday, October 20 at 1 p.m.
Match 3: No. 2 Transylvania vs. Match 2 Winner
Match 4: No. 1 Hanover vs. Match 1 Winner (Indoors)
Championship - Sunday, October 21 at 10 a.m.

Rose-Hulman News & Notes
* Rose-Hulman has two players with double-figures wins in singles play so far this season.
* Fanny-Jane Banda has an 11-2 overall record and is a perfect 10-0 at the No. 3 singles positions in dual matches this fall.
* Naomi Bhagat has a 10-4 overall record, with marks of 3-1 at No. 1 singles and 6-1 at No. 2 singles.
* Banda and Bhagat enter the HCAC Tournament ranked in Rose-Hulman's career top three in singles winning percentage. Banda currently ranks No. 1 (23-4, .852) and Bhagat stands at No. 3 (38-12, .760).
* Bhagat's 38 career singles wins ranks 4th in school history. She would move into a tie for third place on the all-time list with one victory this weekend.
* Beata Barati, Anna Thompson and Linde Schaffer have played nine or more singles matches so far this fall.
* The doubles teams of Bhagat and Thompson (7-7) and Banda and Kyla Jarvis (4-4) stand at .500 overall this season entering the HCAC Tournament.

* Anderson has a 7-4 overall record and finished 6-2 in HCAC play.
* The Ravens won their last five matches in conference play to secure the No. 4 seed in this week's tournament.
* Anderson defeated Rose-Hulman by a narrow 5-4 margin last Thursday in the final Rose-Hulman conference match of the regular season.
