TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's basketball team returns to the court for the second straight day with a 4 p.m. Central Time matchup at Birmingham Southern on Sunday.

Rose-Hulman Notes & News:
* Rose-Hulman dropped a 70-56 decision to a team also receiving votes in the D3hoops.com Top 25 poll, Oglethorpe University, in Saturday's opener.
* Abby Bromenschenkel scored a career-high 21 points against Oglethorpe. Ally Bromenschenkel added 13 points and Debie Gedeon matched a career-high with 11 points on Saturday.
* Rose-Hulman has been picked as the favorite to win the HCAC title this year in the pre-season coaches poll.
* The Engineers finished the 2017-18 season winning their third consecutive HCAC Championship against Transylvania University.
* Rose-Hulman finished the year with an overall record of 24-4, and went undefeated in the conference with an HCAC record of 18-0.
* The Fightin' Engineers enter the season with the nation's longest active NCAA Division III women's basketball home winning streak at 38 games.
* First-team ALL-HCAC selection Ally Bromenschenkel (12.8 ppg, 7.3 rpg) and second-team ALL-League honoree Abby Bromenschenkel (7.5 ppg, 4.8 rpg) highlight the returnees.
* The remaining players that return after appearing in 15 games or more last season include Taylor Graham (7.3 ppg); Debie Gedeon (3.0 ppg); Sophie Brooks(2.9 ppg); Jenna Queary (2.3 ppg); and Hannah Woody (1.6 ppg).
The Opposition: Birmingham Southern College
* The Panthers finished the 20117-18 season with an overall record of 11-15 and a conference record of 5-9 in the SAA.
* Birmingham Southern dropped a 77-71 decision to Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday. Emilee Olsen led the team with 21 points.
* The team returns second-team ALL-SAA sophomore Emilee Olsen and SAA honorable mention sophomore Elizabeth Philpot from last season.
