TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology opens the 2018 home tennis season on Sunday at noon with a matchup against HCAC foe Franklin College.

The Fightin' Engineers, the three-time defending HCAC champions, were selected as the favorites to win this year's HCAC title in a preseason poll of league coaches.  RHIT has won 30 straight matches against conference opposition. 

RHIT stands 5-6 on the season and opened HCAC play with a 9-0 win over Defiance on Saturday at the Wabash Valley Tennis Center.

Franklin College stands 3-6 on the season.  After today's match, Rose-Hulman will host Greenville and Illinois Tech on March 24 at the Joy Hulbert Tennis Center.
