TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's tennis team will look to win its fourth consecutive Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's tennis tournament this weekend in Indianapolis. The Fightin' Engineers won the HCAC Tournament in 2015, 2016, and 2017. Rose-Hulman also has won 37 straight matches against Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference opponents, a streak that extends back to 2014.

* Rose-Hulman stands 15-10 overall in 2018.
* RHIT owns a 15-4 record against NCAA Division III competition this season including a 7-0 mark against HCAC teams.
* The Fightin' Engineers topped Earlham College 5-4 in the regular season finale on April 28.
Season Stats
* Ian Landwehr has been Rose's No. 1 singles player the entire season. Landwehr, a transfer from the U.S. Naval Academy, has posted a 21-3 record this spring at No. 1 singles. He has twice been named Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week and has been ranked as high as No. 18 in ITA Central Region singles rankings.
* Senior Cam Metzger will look to end his RHIT career on a high note. Metzger has posted a 14-6 record at No. 2 singles this season and has combined with Andre Adam for a 13-9 doubles mark. Metzger needs one more singles win to move into a tie for second all-time at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology; Metzger currently has 60 singles wins.
* Junior Andre Adam has compiled a 17-7 mark in singles action this season. Adam has gone 4-0 at the No. 2 slot and 12-6 at No. 3 singles. Adam owns a career singles record of 55-26.
* Austin Perry and Andrew Schiffman have both split time this season between the No. 4 and No. 5 singles flights. Perry has posted an overall singles record of 15-11 this spring. Schiffman has gone 14-11 in singles play in 2018.
* Senior Brendan Goldacker has anchored Rose's No. 6 singles and No. 3 singles slot. Goldacker is 5-1 in singles play against HCAC teams and 5-0 in doubles play in the conference.
* Grant Stamper, Ben Strate, and Jacob Pluta have all seen action this season. Stamper has posted a 5-1 singles record this year while Strate has gone 3-1. Pluta has added a pair of wins at No. 6 singles this season.
