TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's tennis team opens the 2018-19 season at the DePauw Unscored Invitational this weekend.
WEEKEND SCHEDULE:
Rose-Hulman players will compete in individual tournaments at DePauw on Saturday.
The first match begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Blackstock Stadium Courts.
RHIT NEWS & NOTES:
* The men's tennis has won four straight HCAC championships and made four straight NCAA Division III Tournament appearances heading into the season
* Ian Landwehr was named HCAC Player of the Year and ended the 2018 season ranked No. 40 nationally in the ITA singles rankings, after finishing 22-3 and a perfect 19-0 against D-III competition
* Rose-Hulman finished the 2018 season at No. 18 in the ITA NCAA Division III Central Region rankings.
* Participating teams include William Woods, Bellarmine, Indianapolis, DePauw and Rose-Hulman.
