Women's Soccer Hosts Transylvania on Senior Day

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's soccer team will host Transylvania University on Saturday, 11/2 at 1:00 PM for Senior Day.

Senior Day Notes: Senior day presentation will take place at 12:45 PM prior to the start of the match.

#24 Cora Arnold: Cora has appeared in 49 games with 20 starts in her career as an Engineer.  She is a Chemical Engineering major.
#10 Jillian Caffrey:  Jillian has appeared in 51 games with 13 starts in her career as an Engineer.  She is a Biomedical Engineering major.
#5 Kristin East:  Kristin has appeared in 60 games with 38 starts as a member of the woman's soccer team.  She is a Chemical Engineering major. 
#15 Rhiannon Turner: Rhiannon has appeared in 67 games with 33 starts in her career with the Engineers.  She is a Physics major. 
#8 Maddy Twetten: Maddy has appeared in 65 games with 39 starts in her time with the women's soccer program.  She is a Computer Engineering major.
#6 Jessica Wells:  Jessica has appeared in 72 games with 71 starts in her career as an Engineer.  She is a Civil Engineering major.

Rose-Hulman News & Notes:

* Rose-Hulman has clinched a share of the HCAC regular season championship after their win over Anderson with a final score of 2-1.  
Jessica Wells leads the team and the HCAC with 12 goals, 12 assists, and 36 points so far this season.    
* Wells ranks No. 5 in Rose-Hulman history with 40 career goals, No. 3 in career assists with 26, and No. 4 all-time with 106 career points.
Lane Lawrence (6 goals, 2 assists), Maggie Sheerin (5 goals, 1 assist), and Maddy Twetten (4 goals, 2 assists) have also reached double figures in points this season.
* Goalkeeper Katie Demert now totals 70 saves on the season with a goals-against-average of 1.23.    

The Opposition: Transylvania Pioneers

* Transylvania stands at 5-9-3 overall and 3-3-2 in the HCAC after being defeated by Franklin on the road with a final score of 2-0.
* Abby Baker leads the team in scoring with nine goals, five assists, and 23 points so far this season.
