Women's Basketball Travels to Chicago on Tuesday Night

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's basketball team travels to the University of Chicago for a Tuesday night non-conference matchup.  The Maroons are ranked No. 23 in the latest D3hoops.com weekly top 25 poll released on Monday night.

Rose-Hulman Notes & News:

* Rose-Hulman has been picked to finish third in the HCAC according to this year's league coaches poll.
* Berea, which defeated the Engineers in the season opener, improved to 5-1 with the victory after compiling a 22-4 record last year.
* The Engineers finished the 2018-19 season advancing to the HCAC Championship Game against Transylvania University.  
* Rose-Hulman finished the 2018-19 year with an overall record of 20-7, and went 16-2 in HCAC play.
* The Fightin' Engineers will look to welcome in a large freshman class this year after graduating their top six scorers.    
* Returnees for the Engineers include senior Hannah Woody, junior Morgan Brown, and sophomore Caitlin Young.
* Rose-Hulman returns to action in the Midwest Challenge this weekend, facing Illinois Wesleyan then either DePauw or host Washington Univ. (Mo.).
