TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and Earlham College face off for the HCAC Tournament Championship and a bid in the NCAA Division III Tournament on Sunday at 10 am at West Indy Racquet Club.

Tournament champion is the HCAC automatic qualifier in the 2019 NCAA DIII Championship Tournament.
ROSE-HULMAN NEWS & NOTES (12-9, 6-0 HCAC)
* Rose-Hulman has won 46 consecutive matches against HCAC competition and has not lost to an HCAC opponent since May 2014.
* The men's tennis team has won four straight HCAC championships and made four straight NCAA Division III Tournament appearances entering 2019.
* As a team, Rose-Hulman is ranked No. 18 in the ITA Central Region rankings published April 25.
* Ian Landwehr is ranked No. 14 individually in the Central Region in the April 25 ITA player regional rankings. Landwehr is 15-4 overall and 14-3 in dual matches against the outstanding schedule RHIT has played.
* Andre Adam has set the new program record for most career singles wins at 71.
* RHIT has faced one of the toughest schedules in the nation this season, including three top 25 ranked NCAA Division III teams, two NCAA Division II teams and one NCAA Division I squad.
* 31st year head coach Dan Hopkins will retire following the 2019 season. Hopkins has crossed the 300-win threshold on the men's side and has over 450 combined men's and women's victories at Rose-Hulman.
THE OPPOSITION:
* Earlham has a 17-7 overall record.
* The Quakers only HCAC loss was by a 7-2 count to Rose-Hulman on March 30. Earlham finished 7-1 in HCAC play.
