Women's Basketball Suffers Loss On Road Against Earlham

RICHMOND, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineer women's basketball team battled before falling on the road 51-36 at Earlham College on Wednesday. 

The game was tied at 19 with 1:27 remaining in the first half.  The Quakers were able to end the half with a 5-0 run to establish a 24-19 lead at halftime.  Earlham would control the lead throughout the second half to secure the victory.

Hannah Woody was able to provide a spark for the offense leading the team with 11 points.  Nosa Igiehon was also able to contribute finishing the game with seven points and five rebounds.  

The Engineers put up an outstanding effort on the boards by outrebounding the Quakers 50-34.  Kahlan Jester led the team with eight rebounds on the night.  

Rose-Hulman will look ahead to continue HCAC play traveling to Mt. St. Joseph University this Saturday, 1/11 at 2:00 PM.
