HANOVER, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology won 18 total events, and the Fightin' Engineer men picked up a team victory in the regular season finale on the road against Hanover College on Saturday afternoon.
The men won 13 events to pick up a 200-102 win in the meet at Southwestern High School. The Rose-Hulman women gave a strong performance that featured five wins before falling by a 123-90 team score.
Dutch Kipp led the individual performances with three individual event wins. Kipp won the 100-butterfly (54.65), 100-backstroke (57.00) and 200-individual medley (2:04.35).
Double event winners for the Rose-Hulman men included Derick Miller in the 100-breaststroke (1:01.11) and 200-freestyle (1:52.77); and Zach Tate in the 50-freestyle (22.96) and 100-freestyle (48.90).
On the women's side, Parker Brady led the performance with two individual event wins. Brady brought home first-place efforts in the 50-freestyle (26.90) and 100-backstroke (1:06.59).  Brooke Covert added a victory in the 100-breaststroke (1:20.79) and Elisa Weber won the 400-individual medley (5:11.23).
Other men's individual winners included Jared Brown in the 50-butterfly (24.54); William Kemp in the 400-individual medley (4:24.66); Ethan Park in the 50-backstroke (26.96); and Shamus Sparling in the 500-freestyle (5:05.24).
Rose-Hulman also won three relay events on the day. The men won the 200-freestyle relay as Miller, Alex Ketcham, Kemp and Logan McLaughlin completed the race in 1:31.31. The 200-medley relay team of Kemp, Ketcham, Brown and Tate also won in 1:40.39. On the women's side, the Fightin' Engineers won the 200-medley relay as Brady, Weber, Natalija Pumpurs and Hailey Heidecker won in 1:59.71.
Rose-Hulman will host the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships at the Vigo County Aquatic Center from Feb. 13-15.
