Women's Basketball Hosts Earlham Wednesday at 7:30 PM

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- Rose-Hulman will host the Earlham Quakers in their final home game of the season on Wednesday night at 7:30 pm.

MEDIA NOTES

Rose-Hulman (6-17, 5-11 HCAC) News and Notes:

* Rose-Hulman stands within striking distance of the top six spots in the HCAC standings.  The top six teams qualify for the HCAC basketball tournament.
* The Engineers are coming off a key 46-40 win against the Defiance Yellow Jackets last Saturday.  
Nosa Igiehon is ranked No. 2 in the HCAC in rebounds (8.3 rpg) and No. 2 in the league in blocked shots (1.8 bpg).
Hannah Woody is the team's leading scorer this season averaging 10.1 points per game.  She also leads the team in assists (60).  Wednesday will be the senior's final home game at Hulbert Arena.
* Rose-Hulman ranks No. 3 in the HCAC in scoring defense, allowing just 58.3 points per game.
* After Wednesday's game, Rose-Hulman will hit the road to face the Hanover Panthers on Saturday in the final game of the regular season.  Tip-off is set for 3 pm.
* The first Rose-Hulman student hitting a halfcourt shot at halftime will receive FREE BOOKS next quarter.  Students and fans will also receive free food and soft drinks by coming to Wednesday's game.

Earlham (7-16, 6-10 HCAC) News & Notes:

* The Quakers have won their last two games defeating Mt. St. Joseph and Defiance.
* Kayla Bowling is the teams leading scorer with 9.5 points per game so far this season.
* After facing the Engineers, Earlham will wrap up the regular season on the road this Saturday against the Manchester Spartans at 2 pm.
