SATURDAY LIVE RESULTS FROM ILLINOIS WESLEYAN

GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology recorded 10 top-eight finishes at the DePauw University Track and Field Invitational on Friday night.

The event featured approximately half of Rose-Hulman's track and field roster, with the remaining team members scheduled to compete at the Illinois Wesleyan Keck Select Meet on Saturday.

Two fifth-place finishes paced the Rose-Hulman performance.  Ben Hall came home fifth in the men's 800-meter run (2:03.19) and Kristin East was fifth in the women's 400-meter dash (1:05.53).

Sixth-place finishers included Ethan Jones in the 3000 (9:41.44) and Geoffrey Cohen in the long jump (19' 5 1/2").

Marcus Hughes-Oliver paced the seventh-place finishes with effort in the long jump (19' 4 1/4") and the triple jump (38' 6 3/4").  Other seventh-place performers included Aidan Moss in the 60-hurdles (9.12); Chris Jaeger in the high jump (5' 8"); and Alex Huber in the weight throw (45' 2 1/2").

Hunter Crumly added an eighth-place finishes in the shot put with a mark of 42' 11".  

After this weekend's action, the full roster returns to DePauw next Friday night.
