AUBURNDALE, Fla. -- Albion College relied on a five-run third inning to pull away from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and earn a 13-3 victory in the final Fightin' Engineer baseball game in Florida as part of spring trip 2020.
Justin Charron led a 14-hit attack with a three-run home run to lead the Albion attack. Scott Grant earned the pitching win with six strong innings of work for the Britons.
Two Rose-Hulman players had multple hits on the day.  Andy Krajecki finished 2-3 with a double, one run and one RBI.  Shane Garner added a pair of singles and one RBI for the Engineers.
Josh Mesenbrink pitched in with a single and one run scored.  Quintin Bynum led the pitching effort by allowing one unearned run in three innings of work.
Albion imporved to 4-0 on the season, while Rose-Hulman dropped to 3-1. The Fightin' Engineers return to action with a three-game series at Sewanee on Saturday and Sunday. The series includes a doubleheader on Saturday and a single game on Sunday. Games begin at 11 am Central Time each day.
