TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology volleyball team gave Franklin College a tight match at home on Wednesday night before falling 25-23, 25-20, 14-25, 25-23 to the visiting Grizzlies.
Elizabeth Canon led the Fightin' Engineers with 19 kills, and
Sophia Koop contributed 15 kills.Â
Allie Fults added 11 kills.
Kylie Rathbun had team-highs of 20 digs and three service aces. Fults had a team-high seven blocks.
Sophia Harrison paced Rose-Hulman with 26 assists, and
Jillian Gregg had 21. Harrison and Gregg both added 12 digs to the effort.
Franklin improved to 10-11 and 2-2 in HCAC play, while Rose-Hulman dropped to 9-12 and 1-3. The Fightin' Engineers travel to Manchester University for matches against Manchester and St. Mary's College Notre Dame on Saturday.
