FRANKLIN, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology improved to 2-1 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's soccer play with a convincing 4-0 victory at Franklin College on Wednesday night.
Kiley McKee opened the scoring in the 39th minute for the eventual game winning score.
Alicia Rodriguez made the score 2-0 at the break with a tally in the 43rd minute.Â
Elsa King and
Endia Clark assisted on the score.
Christina Rogers added a goal in the 70th minute, and
Elle Vuotto rounded out the scoring in the 72nd minute on an assist from
Lane Lawrence.
Natalie Dillon recorded the shutout, and the Fightin' Engineers outshot Franklin 17-2 on the evening. Vuotto had a team-high four shots.
Rose-Hulman improved to 6-4-1 on the season, while Franklin dropped to 2-8 and 1-2 in league games. The Fightin' Engineers return to action on Saturday at 1 pm with the a Homecoming matchup against Defiance College.
