TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's basketball team hosts its 2021-22 regular season opener against Berea College on Saturday at 6 pm at Hulbert Arena.

ROSE-HULMAN GAME NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman opens the 2021-22 women's basketball season at home against Berea on Saturday.  
* Rose-Hulman finished 2-6 last season, while Berea missed the entire 2021-22 women's basketball season due to Covid-19.
* Jordan Barlow earned honorable mention all-HCAC honors in 2021-22.  Barlow averaged 12.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game, highlighted by her career-high efforts of 20 points at Anderson and 14 rebounds vs. Hanover.
* Nola Wilson is the lone senior on the Fightin' Engineer squad after playing the last two seasons at Rose-Hulman.
* Jon Prevo enters today's game with a record of 199-177, marking the most wins and highest winning percentage in Rose-Hulman women's basketball history.
* Two first-year team members should make an impact this year.  Jamie Baum scored 1,246 points and averaged 16.5 points per game as a senior last year.  Rowan Hein played at NCAA Division I Denver last season and hit two free throws with 3.5 seconds left in an 85-84 win over Colorado.
* Rose-Hulman has a road heavy early schedule, with seven of the first nine games on the road.

BEREA GAME NOTES:
* Berea did not play during the 2020-21 campaign due to Covid-19.
* Berea had a 25-4 record and a 15-1 mark in the USA South during the 2019-20 season.
* Aaliyah Hampton led Berea in scoring at 19.8 points per game in 2019-20.
