MEDIA WEEKEND GAME NOTES

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's basketball team squares off with No. 10 ranked DePauw in the championship game of the Midwest Challenge today at 3 pm Central Time.  The game will be played at Illinois Wesleyan University.

ROSE-HULMAN GAME NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman stands 2-2 on the season, including a 69-64 overtime win over Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday in game one of the Midwest Challenge.
* The season has also included an 87-51 win over Elmhurst on Nov. 20.
* Rowan Hein set a career-high with 27 points in the Illinois Wesleyan win on Saturday.  Hein added 8 rebounds and 6 assists in the performance.
* Jamie Baum pitched in with 14 points in the Illinois Wesleyan victory.  Baum has reached double figures in scoring 3 times in the season's 4 games.
* Jordan Barlow has two 20-point games so far this season, including a career-high 21 points in the Nov. 20 win over Elmhurst.  She currently leads the team in scoring at 16.5 points per game.
* Hein (13.3 ppg) and Baum (11.3 ppg) are also averaging double figures in scoring.
* Mira Randolph came off the bench with a career-high 16-point scoring effort in the Nov. 20 win over Elmhurst.  Randolph added 7 points against Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday.
* Jon Prevo crossed the 200-win mark with the Nov. 20 victory over Elmhurst.  Prevo is the winningest coach in Rose-Hulman women's basketball history and also has the highest career winning percentage in program history.
* Rose-Hulman last defeated DePauw in 2018-19 in the Midwest Challenge.  On that day, the Fightin' Engineers topped then No. 9 ranked DePauw 49-47 at Hulbert Arena.

THE OPPOSITION:
* DePauw is 5-0 and ranked No. 10 in the new WBCA Top 25 poll released this week.
* Mya Shannon leads DePauw in scoring at 19.6 points per game.
* Legendary head coach Kris Huffman has a career record of 626-125 in 27 seasons at DePauw, including 2 NCAA Division III national championships.
