TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's track and field won nine events and honored 12 seniors in a convincing Senior Night victory over Manchester and Franklin at the SRC.
Tim Youndt led the Fightin' Engineer performance with two event wins. Youndt set the No. 4 mark in Rose-Hulman history in the triple jump (44' 4 3/4") and also won the 60-hurdles in 8.95 seconds.
Field event winners also included
Jacob Eve in the high jump (5' 10 3/4") and
Mikey Holtz in the pole vault (13' 5 1/4").
Four student-athletes joined Youndt as a track event winner on Friday night.Â
Raymond Bates won the 400 (52.75);
Jacob Bird captured the 200 (23.64);
Nolan Gross in the mile (4:32.72); and
Noah Thomas won the 60 (7.16 seconds).
The 4-x-400 relay team of Bates, Eve, Bird and Thomas capped the meet with a victory in 3:34.43.
Rose-Hulman also honored 12 men's seniors prior to the meet. Those honored includedÂ
